MEET: INK TO SPILL

‘Ink To Spill’, is about a man who always felt he was objective, and fiercely independent, but not politically enthusiastic toward either of our major parties. A man who had his opinions, but rarely expressed them out loud. A man who finally found his tongue through the verse, chorus and song of this band. That man is C’Quil.

South Side is the story of a pre-teen in Chicago navigating the crossfire on her trips back and forth from school each day.  It’s a story of her relationship with the crayons she uses to escape her fears and her consequential relationship with her teacher and her classmates who all find ways to bond over her drawings.

 

South Side embraces the hardships this young girl needs to overcome everyday and yet finds a way to share her optimism with all who mean so much to her.

 

This video, filmed in Chicago, is performed by our drummer’s daughter, Farrah.  We also introduce two new members to the Ink To Spill line up in, John Tate (Bass) and Anthony D’Angelo (Guitar).
