BIOGRAPHY
Founder of beloved coast-to-coast alternative rock band ‘Ink to Spill’, Bob Sauer aka C’Quil embodies the art of songwriting with genuine grace. Years ago, a turning point in his life opened his mind to his artistic side when friend and fellow musician motivated him to start writing his own song lyrics. Initially contributing to a song-writing project, he eventually evolved with a new sound and a purpose to bring the music to the people. Exploring music convention after music convention to learn the business side of the music industry, Bob eventually cobbled together a network of marketing consultants, videographers, animators and graphic designers to create ‘Ink To Spill’. Moving forward under the alias ‘C’Quil’, Bob’s lyrics were celebrated by many and now, are being brought to life by what has developed into alternative rock band ‘Ink to Spill’. Bob continues to lead the narrative by collaborating on conceptual hits like “Raging Hormones”, “Bloomin in New Orleans” and eventually “Where Went Jose?!”. Their self-titled ‘Ink To Spill’, recently released ‘Chalk Lines’ and their first trilogy’s release ‘Before a Beginning, An Ending’ March’s HYD’N’ release are further evidence the band does not shy away from difficult or controversial topics and instead, confronts them head on. Having received praise from outlets like IHeart Radio, Medium Magazine, Thrive Global, the Virginia-Pilot and the Hollywood Tribune the band has seen incredible momentum in ‘20/’21 with Bob’s leadership at the forefront. Putting the pieces in place for 2021, Bob Sauer continues the path forward while staying true to his roots, his craft and his genuine passion for making stories come to life.
